Barack!

So, I love our new president, Barack Obama. He is amazing and has done more in one week than our previous one did in his whole presidency. What I am so sick about is people always bringing up the fact that Barack is black. It is not always in a negative way, do not get me wrong. Yes, he is the first president of color that we have ever had. However, it seems that that is all people focus on. I do not think that is helpful. Yes, he is black, half black, but he is also white, too. I think that is why people identify with him. His background is so diverse, just like most of the people in America. Most people are mutts from other countries. I think what we should be focusing on is that for once, we elected the right man. For starters, Barack is extremely intellegent. I mean, he graduated from Harvard. Second, he listens. Agree with him or not, he listens to people. That is one of the most important qualities in a president. He is a good speaker. That is a minimum requirement, something our last president lacked. During hard times, the American population needs a president who makes them believe that it will all be ok. I think Barack has that. Also, it seems that our last president thought that women had horns growing out of their heads. Blocking aide to Planned Parenthood groups was inexcusable. I am so glad that Barack reversed this decision.
